The Thermo Scientific Ozone Analyzer (model 49i) is a UV photometric analyzer that measures ozone mixing ratio in ambient air from sub-ppb up to 200 ppm. The ozone mixing ratio is measured by detecting the absorption of ultraviolet radiation in the Chappuis Band (602 nm). The dual-cell technology allows for measurement of zero-air at the same time as ambient air, for the capability of up to 20 s time resolution. In this study we are currently measuring the ozone mixing ratio every 30 minutes.

Further information on the instrument can be found on the Thermo Scientific website.
